CLIENT RESPONSE FabScout Safe Sex Policy

FABSCOUT SAFE SEX POLICY
At FabScout Entertainment, we take safe sex practices very serious. As such, FabScout has made the decision to only represent models to those Studios and Producers who promote safe sex practices within their productions and require the use of condoms. Additionally, FabScout will no longer represent models who wish to be in bareback productions.
We respect everyone's personal decisions when it comes to their personal sexual preferences. However, as a talent management company, we feel that we have a moral responsibility when it comes to protecting the best interest of our models. As such we stand behind our decision to only work with Studios, Producers and Models who share our views in promoting Safe Sex practices within the Adult Entertainment Business.

Thank you for having the cojones to take this stand. It's very daring at a time when bareback producers are getting proactive and lashing out at anti-bareback advocates.
There is really no such thing as "safe bareback." That is a fact. I don't care what anybody says, as they try to rationalize and justify their actions. Testing provides only a false sense of security; and it is a way for people to be able to live with themselves. If we don't begin to govern ourselves as an industry, then it is inevitable that the government will eventually try to step in and do it for us. Now do we really want that?! Their pretense will be to safe lives; but in reality their secret agenda will be to again try to put us out of business through ludicrous regulations.
I challenge other agents to put their models' safety before profits, and follow Fabscout's brave example!

12/13/2007 Congratulations Howard and staff on
a very bold and timely move. Thank you for sending the message that
performers safety is more important than money. I hope this is the
beginning of a trend. Safer sex in Adult Entertainment should be at
the forefront of all our minds. We here at I-D Lubricants applaud
you for your cutting edge approach to management and are proud to be
your partner. I hope others follow suit. Nick DiMartino

12/13/2007 Howard's overture should not be limited to models, studios and producers. It is incumbent upon everyone associated with the adult entertainment industry to do whatever necessary to discourage the manufacturing, promotion and sales of unsafe sex films. Therefore, I challenge all unsafe sex film Distributors in the United States and around the world to jump on the band wagon and help save lives.

12/13/2007 Bravo Howard!
At Pride Studios we have always believed that at the very least, barebacking is not part of the solution to the AIDS/HIV crisis which is attacking the members of our community at some of the highest levels in a decade plus and the "no glove, no policy" echoes our own filming guidelines. We are proud to stand with you, Chi Chi LaRue and Titan, and I hope many more to follow, on this issue.

Thank-you for doing the right thing Howard!

Good for you, Howard. It is widely
known in the industry that it has always been my policy to provide
talent ONLY to companies who do safe-sex videos and to NOT represent
talent who would consider doing bareback videos. Glad you are now of
the same mind. |

12/12/2007 Thank you for taking a stand, it's very daring. I've been troubled about this subject for a quite a while and wanted to get up on a soapbox, but didn't know how. I planned to write a big expose article, but no magazine would print it. Instead, I put together a brochure about "harm reduction" aimed at models, studios that produce bareback and studios that are considering it. For what it's worth, I hope you can pass around this information, particularly to the models. Mark Kliem LavenderLounge.com LavenderLoungeBlog.com ReelGuys.org MuscleBearCub.com LavenderLounge.biz
